Amboyna Burl

Not the greatest PIC in the world but I finally knocked the CA Finish out! Amboyna Burl on a Satin Polaris. I know not everyone is a fan of this kit, but the inlaws gave me a set of the bushings and a couple of kits so I cranked them out. Enjoy.

Great piece of wood and the Polaris does allow the wood to be shown to it's best. Nice work. I'm one of those not too fond of the kit.

Hey Rich nice looking pen I do like the kit i just have'nt sold any yet[V] great job on the ca finish I'm a die hard friction polish guy[] i have done the ca finish a couple of times was'nt that impressed with it but i will admit maybe i should break down and do some more practice with it before i make my final decision[8D] again great job!!

Thanks for the comments. I'm trying to decide myself if I want to keep doing the polaris or work my way up to a Jr. Gent or a Wall Street. I really like both of them. The Polaris does show off the wood though!
