This is a Chrome Baron beautifully dressed in one of Eugene's Amalgam Mutt blanks.

Man that is beautiful. I bought two of Eugene's Cancun blanks awhile back to commemorate my mine and my wife's 15th anniversary trip to the Caribbean. I can't wait until if feel competent enough to turn those. I hope mine come out looking this nice.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone.

Chuck, I painted the tubes and the hole in the blank with paint I purchased at Hobby Lobby. It was Model Master - Bright Aqua Pearl. Just a little 3 oz. can. It cost $4.99.

Yeah, just a little spray can. After I spray the tubes, I just lay a piece of plastic bag over the cap and squish it down to create a little reservoir. Then I just spray a little in that reservoir. I just use a cheap little paint brush and hit the inside of the blanks.

Really nice.... I wouldn't mind getting a few blanks of that myself. Just how do I do that.
