Great work on the Camoflage Tape, Mik.
I don't know if it is just me, but I can't quite get my mind around the Symbolism or Association of a Camo Bolt Action Pen, with Armor Plate.
I associate Armor plate as a being a need for reinforcing and for defence.
Whereas the Bolt Action Pen, is symbolic of a Weapon.
Perhaps I have been too busy today, and can't get my mind in right gear.
Leaving all that aside, as mentioned a Great Job, on the Camo Tape, with your usual Fantastic Fit and Finish.
Regards,
Brian.

Brian i wanted to make them without the aluminum tape, first 3 experiments... but nothing i tried worked, so out with the mighty armor plates that i am sure our Boys and Girls fighting in camouflage clothing have hidden under their vests

the camouflage tape wouldn't hold to the tubes while turning, everything just let go

i have sold one of the 2 already, pretty much straight off the lathe, if the second one goes quickly then i will make more

i will keep thinking about it

all the best

Armor under the clothing might be ceramic?

Now if you're talking about the stuff the Romans repaired things with.....thumbs up!
Which country was the first to issue camo clothing to their troops?

That's an interesting question. According to my quick google search, the Japanese apparently used it in the 14th century. The British used in in the 18th during the Napoleonic wars. The French used it in WWI and were followed by the USA.
