This is a fun pen, it is made from Aluminum and I just couldn't bring myself to stick it with Platinum so it had to go with the Gold Ti. finish.

Very nice Neil. I made one of these for Hans Wunch for the Christmas trade. Had it powder coated red. I need to get more blanks from John. I really like the way they look with the gold. You did a great job on this one.

Neil, pen looks beautiful. I need to ask a qsn. which is did you use solid stock for the AL. or was it a tube that you used? this is a newbie qsn. I'd like to learn.
This was made from a piece of square stock someone had given me a while back, I'm not sure what the composite is but I believe it is 6160.

Neil,
Great looking pen. I have made several alluminum pens but none with the contrast like yours. What did you finish it with? I have been using an outdoor metal protectant.
