While ago, I bought Artisan Panache kit from CSUSA because it's contemporary look. I successfully made it but I didn't like using it. It looks interesting on the table but you will disappoint once you start using it. It's top heavy shape makes it difficult to write. So, I decided to alter the shape more comfortable for me, and this is the result. I disassembled and discard metal end caps for lighter weight and shaped orthodox closed end style. I'm not sure but the wood is maple I guess, It was scrape found in the shop. The black dot on the cap is ebony inlay to coverup the hole I accidentally made. Although it won't stand like Panache, it's well balanced and comfortable to write now. This is also my first closed end pen. As always, any comment and suggestions are welcome. Thanks for looking. Yoshi
