While ago, I bought Artisan Panache kit from CSUSA because it's contemporary look. I successfully made it but I didn't like using it. It looks interesting on the table but you will disappoint once you start using it. It's top heavy shape makes it difficult to write. So, I decided to alter the shape more comfortable for me, and this is the result. I disassembled and discard metal end caps for lighter weight and shaped orthodox closed end style. I'm not sure but the wood is maple I guess, It was scrape found in the shop. The black dot on the cap is ebony inlay to coverup the hole I accidentally made. Although it won't stand like Panache, it's well balanced and comfortable to write now. This is also my first closed end pen.:) As always, any comment and suggestions are welcome. Thanks for looking. Yoshi
