I have uploaded the pen I made last night. The cherry pen I copied it from got quite a bit of interest and finally sold so I wanted to see if I could copy the design in another wood. As I didn't use calipers or any real measurements from the original, it is not an exact copy and I like that.

I have showed it to a few people this morning who have liked it but preferred the cherry so, I guess, I'll be making another cherry pen soon. I still don't intend to use measurements. It was hard enough making a pen with a predetermined shape in mind. I much prefer free-forming my turning.

I will be doing a demo at the local Woodcraft Sunday. Only two hours so am debating whether to take my Bealle buffing system with me or not. There will be other turners working at the same time so I can mostly have fun and play. I LIKE play.
