Hi All,

Here is one of the blanks I cast in this post (http://www.penturners.org/forum/showthread.php?t=65758) pictures 4 & 5.

The woven body tubing (fly fisherman speak) was a good find. I like it, very colourful.

The tube was spray painted with Krylon glossy white, tubing was thin CA glued, wet sanded to 1000, and polished with HUT twice. The kit is Diplomat II Chrome & Gunmetal.

As always comments and suggestions are welcome.

That did come out real well. Are you saying that this was not cast in clear resin and all you used was to top coat it with CA??? If so why??? Is the material too thick to cast or just your way of doing it??? Thanks for showing.

Edit I see now from your other post that you did cast it. Very well done.

What the heck! You guys keep coming up with all these beautiful designs on your pens. Then you cast it yourself. Absolutely beautiful craftsmanship.
