Ok not really the tubes and transmission are still in there. Amboyna burl with ebony for the tip, CB and finial. The clip is ebonized maple. A couple bands of that fine powdered glitter they sell at the dollar store. If I make another the finial will be changed, I'm not totally happy with this one. Had fun making it and I guess thats the main thing.

Try turning the finial with the upper barrel as a closed end.
Great job on the clip .

Nice work. The style reminds me of a Euro pen. I think the glitter bands spoil the pen a bit, the Amboyna burl and ebony would have looked great by themselves. You did a really good job with the clip! Is it a solid piece of maple or is it laminated?

The clip is a solid piece. Had some thin strips with good straight grain.
