All Wood Desk Pen

Desk pen made with Rosewood and has Olive Wood for nib and the center band. Finish is a satan Lac. Not real happy with the stand but pen has nice weight and it feels good in the hand.

Weather by happenstance or design the different grain lines flow REALLY well,
The stand works well with the pen and as a whole it demands a second look,
just something about it.
I'm not so sure about the two nubs on the stand but the rest of it almost defies easy description.

Hubert; Pen and stand look great. I too would remove the knobs on the stand to give it the smooth lines that the pen has. Great craftsmanship and design. Jim S

Very Creative! I wouldn't change anything about this one!
You can always use another design for your next one. I'm pretty sure you will come up with something you have in mind anyway.
One of the GREAT things about pen making is you can use just about any wood available in the WORLD, and have enough for the whole project... and we aren't even talking about the possibilities with acrylics etc...
