I got out the instamatic today and took a few snaps:
My wife call this the "All the Little Children of the World" pen. It is made of Holy-Land Olive-Wood with a double-cross segmentation of Redheart, Osage Orange, African Blackwood, and Curly Maple. The segments are angle-cut so that the grain is aligned in the finished piece.
I like this pen because it's the first piece of Eastern Red Cedar I've come across that has curl.
This is my current daily-writer. After all, money makes the world go around.
And, finally, 'tis the season - hunting season that is (I've always wondered -- it it's called "tourist season", why can't we shoot them?). This one is one of a several I made for an upcoming hunting show. It's a nickel-plated 30-06 with a real bullet for a nib and white-tail antler.
