.......is gold and copper from Oklahoma!!!

Roy (Oklahoman) and Dawn (PR_Princess) got together, which resulted in me getting some new blanks to turn!!!

These were easy to turn (PR) and Roy had already done the facing of the tube. I sanded to 1000 then buffed, tripoli and white diamond. As you can see, there are no visible scratches and the gold and copper look vibrant.

Comments welcome and I'll bet Oklahoman has a couple available for sale[:0][:0][:0][:0][:0]

For those who are worried about difficulty, I finished each pen in about 20 minutes, turning one tube at a time on my "mini-mandrel".

It's Polyresin that has been formulated to optimize turning simplicity (In other words, it does NOT have a lot of hardener to make it "chippy"). As I said above, this is the same technique PR_Princess (Dawn) uses because we think it's the easiest to turn. Interesting that Roy came to the same conclusion since Dawn and Roy worked without consultation.

Just a FWIW - YOU can turn these!!!
