Well I finally managed to make it to the Metal Superstore in Birmingham. I picked up a rod of aluminum and a rod of brass. I figured I would try out a piece of the aluminum to see how it worked. It does have its challenges. I think I need to sharpen a tool or 2. I used a 12 mm triple start for the cap and 9x.75 for the nib holder piece. It has a 5 mm bock nib. Comments and critiques are welcome and as always thanks for looking.

I love aluminum pens and yours is no exception, would I be correct in saying that you are on kitless roll?
Can't wait to see the brass.

updated with added clip

I went back and added me a clip to this one. I tapped it with it with a 100 mm tap. I not sure what the clip cam from other than my spare parts bin.
