While waiting on some blades to be heat treated, I've enjoyed making a few pens. This is a full sized emperor with velvet koa. Very nice piece of wood that pictures just can't capture. Thanks for looking.

The Blank has Magnificent "Chatoyance"
You have Captured Beautifully what I consider is the hardest Element in Pen Photography. Chatoyance, where present can usually only be seen while moving or rotating the wood across the light source, so that the movement displays the changes in the object. You have Brilliantly Achieved that with a Still Photograph.
Great Fit, Finish, and Superb Photograph.

Brian, I take multiple pictures. Pick the best three or four and then post process through light room and photoshop. The blending of pictures happens in photoshop.
