Well, I've had half a dozen Statesman kits sitting here for like a year. I had started the finish on this blank maybe 9 months ago, but today finished it and got it assembled. After seeing this finished, I can't believe I just had the blanks sitting in a box unassembled for so long. Never again.

Finish is Enduro if it matters. I really like the dry time, the lack of any smell, and the ability to spray if necessary/when it's nice out.

That... is truely exceptional!! Simply outstanding! Sometimes it seems like the wood doesn't quite compliment the kit. Not in this case. Really nice work.

Thanks all for the kind comments. I think this may be the best one I have done so far. Anyway, I'm thinking of turning it into a fountain pen with a gold nib. I think it would look even better then. Of course, the buyer will dictate what the final style is. (no buyer yet)
