I came into some extrordinary Afzelia Burl a while back and have actually had this pen turned and photograhed for a while but have just neglected to show it. This wood is just beautiful Such a range of colors and depth to it. Oranges, reds, black all swirled together. Just cant say enough about it. I am extremely proud of this pen and think it ones of the best looking i have made so far. Kit is a Blk Ti Jr Gent. Sorry for all the pics but it is so beautiful i had to get it from every angle.

Very nice pen. The only wood I have turned for a long time has been a pine PITH pen (try saying that 3 times really fast). May have to turn a few wood blanks for a change. That is a great burl!
