I find good fortune in turning African Ebony having found any splitting in the cutting and discarding by selection seems to be rewarded. Love designing Slims using the Streamline centre band. Personal choice of mine I like centre bands as well.

Turning to Stealth cause it reminded me years ago down south in Turkey watching Stealth Bombers taking off, landing, parking, no doubt by now superseded but entirely black felt I must one day make a black pen. Here it is.

Kind regards Peter.

Peter, That is a beautiful pen that is black as seen synonymous with stealth.
However, the intricacies of detail and profile of that pen are far from stealth.
More fitting would be that it stands out like a beautiful piece of artwork that could be spotted by even the casual observer.Thank you for showing! Doc

Peter, that is a beautiful example of what can be done with a Slim Line, the pen is absolutely drop dead gorgeous. Like some others normally I don't like a pen with a lot of cove work but you certainly changed my opinion!!

Just saw this one - very, VERY nice turning. As I think we discussed before, I love ebony, and you have certainly made a treasure out of it here.

Sharp looking pen, I love the design elements and ridge work! I'll have to try my hand at this type of turning one day.
