African Backwood w/ Aluminum Accents on a Platinum Cigar. There are 4 aluminum dots around each blank (pic. doesn't show it). Lacquer/Tripoli/WD/TSW finish. Critique/comments welcome.

That's nice looking. Almost got a handful of blackwood blanks today. Went to the local Woodcraft to get my laser for my new drill press and the wife had a handful of them... then changed her mind for something else... amboyna burl. Hey at least she's a willing participant eh? []

gwilki....the aluminum inserts are the shafts from aluminum rivets. I squared the blanks and set up a stop jig on my DP, drilled holes, and inserted a piece with a drop of CA...
