The tip can be recessed using the knurl or the top, when Maxman did his I got in touch with him and told him I had received ideas from his he said go for it and I did. Purchased in the US for me by Nick made by another manufacturer.

I had a piece of Bethlehem Olive it was already so bright in colour I wanted subdued next one I will use one of Bruces Billiard Ball Blanks and go all out with colour.

Peter, That is a very unique and creative pen with contemporary match of materials. The striking symmetry between the lower and upper halves of the pen adds even more appeal to the eye as it brings out the contrast of the materials more distinctively. Excellent! Regards, Doc
