Ok not sure if I posted this one yet, but Used it as a test pic for a new camera (new to me anyway) and its macro setting.

Taken with a HP Photosmart 850, 100iso and basic lighting, haven't setup the lights yet. I do have to say it focuses pretty darn good for the camera being less then a foot from the pen...

Is that a segmentation that goes all the way through?

Yes, I glued the acrylic between two pieces of maple, then cut it on a diagonal for the blank..


The rest, thanks for the compliment. I know i over turned the nib end on this one, it was a test pen for the most part. Tried 2 part 5min epoxy and it took more like a day to dry, the lower section came undone during turning and had to re-glue and smooth out..

Very nice pen. Photo looks good, but you may want to find a better editing program. The compression made the pic pretty grainy.

I know, haven't installed photoshop yet, used elements and I don't like it. Also the background isn't grainy, its the material, have to be really close to see the holes. White felt I believe..
