First off Rob, welcome to the site. The pen looks nice. That's some fine beading near the bottom, what did you use to get such detail?

Thanks - I used a skew to make the beads, but didn't roll them. Just used it flat on the tool rest like a scraper, and the sanding process took off the sharp corners - what I was going for.

Glue joint at the lamination failed 3 times (before drilling). Sanded and used CA, but may try epoxy next time.

I really like the top, the bottom not so much. My mind thinks there needs to be something screwed on the end :)

Top cut and colors work great together
