Here is my first try at a Jr. Gents II. I spent about as much time making bushings for my barrel trimmer as I did making the pen. It was challenging (for me) to get that 12.5mm hole properly located in my 19mm (3/4") blank. Polishing was also a chore as I had to start over when I found tiny white spots that looked like dust but were actually small pits in the surface.

Comments welcome as always!

Mikey,

Yes it is one of the WPP blanks. I've already re-ordered from them as I really like this product. This Evergreen and the Blue Hawaii are my favorites so far.

Very nice. I love that blank. I'm going to have to try that one.
Once you have your trimmer bushings made, you never have to make them again.
I also found that pitting can be a nuisance with acrylic. Actually, I have had to start over on more than a few sand jobs. Usually find minute scratches in the finish when I get down to 6000 or 8000 MM. Can usually go back to 1500 paper, some times I have to go back to 600. All my CA, acrylics, celluloids and the such, get wet sanded now. It took me awhile to figure out that it makes them look soooooooo much better, and it's so much easier.
