Acacia Wood Pens

[TRRH]

From what I can tell, this is Acacia wood (Wattle?). Tree was cut down To make room for a new building in Fredericton, NB Canada. In storage for 6 months, then a series of 30 sec zaps in a microwave before turning.

Nice. I like the grain on the top pen in the photo. Bit of mottling.

Big family acatia, includes many species.

All make nice pens. Koa is one of my favorite members of the acatia family.
