Abalone jewel of the Sea

I have long admired the abalone blanks that are available, so I finally broke down and got a super nice blank from Exotic Blanks. I would like to take credit for this pen, but the credit goes to Exotic Blanks and Ron's Paua Abalone Shell Blanks. I just emphasized the beauty of this beautiful natural product.
As in the past, pros and cons welcome. Pros make my head swell and cons make me work harder.

Great fit and finish and great photo. I think the pen kit color was the right one for that blank. Great work!
