I was in the shop yesterday going through my kits and found one that only had the refill, tranny, and nib. Then I saw a short piece of deer antler and a 7 mm cartridge. So I came up with the idea to make a pocket pen out of them. I have seen posted that someone used a teachers kit to make one. I came up with this idea to modify another slimline. Comments are welcome. It was a fun project and I plan on carrying it in my pocket every day to see how it holds up. Thanks, Keith

Clever idea!! Did you use a mini refill or cut down a normal SL one?
I was really suprised once when I needed to cut one down and saw how far down it could be cut before you hit ink.
