Hey guys,

Here's a quick one, clicky thumbnails. :)

Stabilized spalted hackberry sanded with MM and Renaissance Wax, a really soft finish.

A freebie blank, green ebonite, I am not liking it, it stinks and look fake! :)

The fantastic feathers strike again! The sun even got out when I took the picture! :)

The last and best in my opinion, the wonderfully figured cocobolo burl! :)

Thanks and comment as you please,

Charles

Great pens, great finish.

The thing I'm most amazed with is the clarity of your pens in photos where you're hand holding the item.

I'm with Jason. I love the burl. Such a rich looking wood and a great finish on the pen. Nicely Done..

Pix are awesome too....

It's a toss up between feathers and cocobolo burl for me. I've got to try some of the cocobolo burl I got. I beleive we both got it from the same guy on ebay who was selling cut offs from his bowl turning. He use to sell wood years ago and got into more turning rather than selling. Does this sound like the same guy. Someone on the IAP mentioned him when I was buying from him also. I bought a bunch of blanks from him but have not tried them yet. Was waiting to be sure they are dry. Some are sap and heart wood others are all heart wood.

Anyway great looking bunch of pens.
