It's frustrating. The Turkish Walnut is the one that's out of round the most. I'll be knocking it apart to refinish it at some point once I either a)have a new lathe or b) fix the bed on my current lathe.

It's hard to tell from the pic, but the Cigar has a major goof in it. I turned the barrels to the wrong diameters. So my solution was to glue the transmission in the retracted position (notice that the refill is extended even in this position) and I'll make a desk stand for it. Good thing it was a cheap kit, otherwise I'be be really steamed at myself.
