I made this one for the heck of it. The kit was given to me by chris99210 ( thank you again ). Not sure what kind of wood it is, but I decided to try out a one piece on a small scale. I didn't read the tutorial I looked at the pictures, and went from there. A couple of drawback, but I worked around them. 1st I don't have a long drill bit, so I made the pendant pen. 2nd after turning and placing nib(not glued like the tutorial said) it didn't want to turn, so I re-drilled the nib end using an "0" bit to widen it. after that here it is.
The dark spot is a knot. Plus it's dirty because of my hands.
