I received some gifts from a new friend I made here. This is the results. All of them have a CA finish.
Left two Cigar pens are Juniper, The far right is a
BOW Cigar. & the last one I had the hardest time which is the
Desert Ironwood.he Ironwood was done in a copper kit you can't tell by the picture but it's beautiful. A copper kit & dark wood.
I had to sand the CA finish off 3 times before it came out good. That is one hard wood to turn.

Comments or criticism welcome.

Bill,
The Ironwood was worth it[:D] I was hoping that there would be more light colors in it. But this will be one of my carry around pens. I've received a couple of orders from my customers while they had to sign for a Certified letters.

Jim,
They don't like having to sign for certified letters, let's face it who does. I have a nice bunch of customers & for the really nice ones I'm making them all slimline pens for X Mas. to let them know I appreciate their X Mas gifts to me.

Juniper, I havent heard of making a pen from that (I must still be a noob!)

Where did you get that juniper wood from? We have tons of it here in part of CO. Might just harvest me some..

Not sure how you came to that conclusion, but I never bought from him. Those juniper blanks are from locally collected wood here.
