30-06 with dogwood root

had a short piece of dogwood root left so I did this bullet pen this week. what you think????

Nicely done! fit is good, proportions look good to me. Nice wood too. Now if you can start drilling real bullets, They will really be top shelf.

I like it. The shape is nice.
It does look like you sanded through your finish though a little more than 1/2 way up. I say that because the light reflection goes dull then gets crisp again. But it might just be the angle. This happens to me more often than I care to admit. I try to find them before I put them together, but that doesn't always happen either.
