That "jigsaw puzzle" pen is incredible! How did you do that?

Let me rephrase. All your pens look awesome, but the puzzle pen really intrigues me [:)]

VisExp, I believe that is the puzzle pen that was designed by Lou Metcalf (DCBluesman) and Ken of Kallenshaanwoods. It is available as a kit from Ken's site.

Dawn is right. I got that puzzle from Ken. Just this week I noticed that he now has another puzzle made from Hawaiian woods. The real trick was building the puzzle around the dowel. Even though I used wax paper as Ken suggests I still glued the dowel to the inside of the lover barrel. After I got the dowel out and the tubes glues in. I just used my good ole 80 grit skew. I wasn’t about to have a catch and have puzzle pieces flying all over the shop at that point. As I was making this one for an upcoming show a friend of mine saw it and ordered one for her sister for Christmas along with 3 of Ron’s Cross blank pens.
