Awhile back I posted a message telling about a customer that requested a pen that cost at least $500. You all offered a lot of great suggestions. The customer decided on a Jr. Emperor with either ebonite, M3 or trustone. I had a cumberland and turned a black/gold M3 and a black/gold trustone. I used cheaper pens for the demo.

I had problems with the trustone. On the end of the cap, just as I was making my last cut a chunk came out. The other barrel got thrown when I wasn't as careful as I should have been with the polishing wheel.

Looks like they've got three great choices. I think I like the tru-stone the best, but it's hard to pick a favorite. Maybe they'll just get $1500 worth of pens and have you make one of each.
