3-D mini scetch

Hey fellas,been awhile since I made a barrel.I used walnut for the body and smoky lexan for the knot.I screwed up one of the cuts but since it is for me I decided just to keep going.I used gorilla glue white to cover the brass.I kinda like seeing down into the cuts.Gives it that three dimentional look.What do you think?Q,C,C welcome.

Looks good !! Shouldn't have told about the glitch ... can't see it. It looks like you made a good job of the double knot.

Yeah it is, although I got it from woodturningz for a buck less.

I like it! The lexan gives a neat effect, how was it to turn?

The walnut was pretty hard so the transitions between wood and lexan wasn't too bad.
