This was a commissioned pencil (pen&pencil set). I'm happy with how the 3 colors came together.

Walnut, Maple, Padauk, med CA finish, Woodcraft Euro Pencil kit:

Yes, there's a lip on the tip. It was requested that way. I tried to talk him into a cigar kit or another thicker one, but he wanted the euro. :shrug:

Nice work, Don! :biggrin: Those colors work very well together. I wasn't sure I liked the size of the herringbone at first, but its grown on me since I've been looking at it. It strikes me as being a "warm" pen.

It looks good to me other than the lip on the tip part, But if that's the way he wants it, he gets it. Nice color pattern.

I kinda took it as a challenge to make it look decent. It's really only obvious from the side. I'll call it a success and see if I can make the pen to match now. :eek:
