Here are this weekends projects. The first is a jarrah burl sedona. I love the jarrah but there are a ton of voids that needed filled so finishing was a pain. The turn out was nice though. The other were just some practice acrylics that look ok also. Let me know what ya think.

Kevin - that Jarrah Burl is stunning ! It's the finish that makes the statement. I have a lot of Jarrah Burl but never considered it for a pen because of the voids. Now I have to try one !

Thanks Scott! The next time i cut a jarrah burl i think i will have to paint the tube before i glue it into the blank. There are just so many voids that its almost certin that the tubes will show through. It happend on this one in only one spot on the cap so i covered it up with the clip. On another pen it was so bad that i used gold flake and ca to fill the voids wich looked good too.
