Designer, I believe maple, dyed purple to intice little sister into bidding at a family reuion auction we have every year. Purple being her favorite color.
Also My first attempt at stealing Fangers CA finishing technique.

Woods not predyed all I did was use sand from 120-400, them MM to 12000, used Dye-na-Flow dye from Micheals, let dry and sand with MM again, I did 2 coats here and sanded MM each time to 12000, then followed Fangar's instruction step for step for the CA finish. I also use the dye-na-flow to mix with some of my PR pours every now and then as well seems to work for that also.
