2nd Designer, 1st Fanger CA finish

Designer, I believe maple, dyed purple to intice little sister into bidding at a family reuion auction we have every year. Purple being her favorite color.
Also My first attempt at stealing Fangers CA finishing technique.

Nice looking pen, Wiley. I'm doing the same style curly maple euros in a rainbow using Prismacolor markers. I started with purple because it is my favorite color.

Can some one point me in a direction for dye that I can do in my shop? I have a lot of maple that I wanted to get creative with..

Do you purchase the wood pre dyed or dye it yourself? If self, what do you use, and how???[]

Woods not predyed all I did was use sand from 120-400, them MM to 12000, used Dye-na-Flow dye from Micheals, let dry and sand with MM again, I did 2 coats here and sanded MM each time to 12000, then followed Fangar's instruction step for step for the CA finish. I also use the dye-na-flow to mix with some of my PR pours every now and then as well seems to work for that also.
