Getting better, seems to always take 3 tries to get something to an acceptable level. Coming along though, I had a couple of left over pieces from the last attempt. Made on a Sierra Kit in Walnut, Maple and Dyed Black Veneer.

Sweet!!!

Your alignment is superb Mark. I do like seeing others playing with these!

Keep whatever leftovers you have. For finials (Jr Gent II styles), you would need minimum (4) 3/8" x 3/8" sections. 1/2"-3/8"+ would be better (L, D).

The finials are easy once you have gotten past making the basic Chevrons. (Really!!).

My opinion. Once you got the Chevrons (which you have), the finial is the final challenge, and is very doable! (PM if you need suggestions).

Then on to the next design.
