Needless to say its a long line design :)

A pen crafted from brass which has then been plated in chrome.

a very long design, modelled on a quill. A truely luxurious pen which suits any executive desk or for those who truely appreciate the use of a fine pen.

A twist mechanism to retract the pen nib

Mounted on a titanium jig

Two questions Brad...

Why isn't this in the Russ Fairfield Contest?

What's with the kit nib? That would have looked spectacular if you had incorporated the nib into the front half.

Looks good though!!

Outstanding! And you really show the faith in your plating by propping it on rocks like that, I would've been too afraid it would scratch.

 There was a chance of it being entered into a competition. if I had made the nib too i figured it would have been disqualified, so decided against it.

Its 225mm in length

Yes I must admit that I myself lean more towards chrome. Though surprisingly im finding that gold does look fantastic under some conditions such as the egyptian pen I etched
