Last mnoth I harvest my spalted mango I did in early 2004, mango is classified as hard wood and take a long time to spalted but I'm happy with the ressult, photos deosn't show all colour but still nice, comments welcome

Nice pen Serge...not sure if I have the patience to wait 2 years though [:D].

I will be turning some mango soon and hope to post a pic or two when I am done with it.

I agree with Dario I dont have the patience to wait 2 years. I have a hard enough time waiting the required time for some of the steps needed for turning pens.

I cheated a bit and showed some of my best [:D]. Ofcourse best is a matter of preference. The 2 on top are actually burly and the last 3 are figured.

Some of my stock are plain but have any of the following color combinations (beige, yellow, brown, gray, etc). I might try spalting more of them.
