Hi everyone, here are 2 pens I made, the slimline I used Hawaiian Sandalwood and no finish because it smells soooooo good. Yes I kept all the shavings from this too. :)
The second pen is Hawaiian Naio, also called false sandalwood. It has a orange color compared to the real Sandalwood and the smell it different, it does smell nice but it is different from the real Sandalwood and the smell does not last as long. Both woods are rare and hard to get. I hope you all enjoy the pictures. Aloha.

Chris

Very nice pens Chris. I do some work with Curly Koa I get from a friend on Kauai and I'm always amazed at how the wood turns out after completing a pen or knife handle. I use Tung Oil on my knife handles and it really makes the Koa pop. People on the main land who don't know wood are always amazed when I tell them the wood species and where it comes from. Again, nice work on the pens.
