1st try at a one piece acrylic pen. Added a moderate trumpet bell flair for finger grip and a small indent for the finger pad. Fits well in the hand. No clip on this one because I like my pen on the wide side, plus it wouldnt look good due to the taper. This guy is 5 1/2" inches long. A slimmer one piece would be a clip. Down side I'm left with a spare clip and center band. Up side it looks cool and now my friends want me to make them one.
Hint: This was a predrilled 5/8" blank from PSI. Easier than drilling all the way thru. Also learned the ink side hole needs to be a smidge wider because the trans mushrooms out the tube and the tollerance can be too tight for installing and turning the nib assembly.

Got some Buckeye Burl from Rocky. Nice blanks. This one I'll keep. Maybe the next two I'll keep also.
