Just finished a natural burl/wood that has been made into a herringbone pen by Constant. I like the natural wood better and was curious what the masses think. The woods are Black ash burl, Black Walnut, and a mystery wood from the land down under and another that I just can't think of. Constant can fill in the blanks. Anyhow the second is a dyed maple with several colors. Comments are welcome, good or bad. Russell

Very nice! I too like the natural pen better. I found that some of my quilting skils transfer well to segmented projects. I did a top based on a "log cabin" quilting patern for my 4 year old, tunred out nice.

I agree...while they both look great the natural wood one truly out shines the other in richness. More of those!
