Very nice work on the pens, A++ on both the turning and design! As for the photo background, I would find another...this one is very distracting IMHO.

Great job coach. Really nice work on the inlays, not to excited about the wood you paired it with.
The redwood burl is excellant, very nice piece.

I used that wood just to see if I could pull it off. Used blanks that I had several of and some scraps. The gluing only takes a few minutes each piece. I don't let them sit over night or anything. The CA works very quickly. The background is my chunk of white oak burl that I can't cut up yet due to lack of saws!!!

Coach, Very nice workmanship on pens. Can you take the burl to let woodshop teacher cut it for you? I do things for people in our community at times. Just a thought.

He is going to let me cut it up there, when he gets a new blade for his chainsaw and band saw. They just cut up a bunch of mesquite for plaques. They even kept some for me!
