The top pen is curly koa from Lee Tannenbaum. The scan does it no justice at all. It really has a shimmer when you tilt it in the light. http://www.leetreewoodworks.com/

The bottom pen is from a new board I bought from California. It's pommele sapele. It's from the edge of the board and I sure hope there is more figure in the center. There are two distinct lines on the lower section, but hard to see on the scan. I really like the color and grain.
