this is a horse cane i did for my daughter. it has an led for night walking activated by the push-on-off switch in the horse shoe. the other is a basketball walking staff.the cane and staff are made of laminated aspen (fiberglass between layers) with the accents made of western red cedar, walnut, spalted pine(the grey on the horse shoe) and black cherry....they are extremely strong.

Is the light strong enough to light your way or does it just help with getting a key in a dook lock?

it lights the path quite well. like having a mini flashlight. it's a superbright LED. in the dark woods it will light up for about 30 feet in front of you well enough to see any hazards.
