Off to NJ tomorrow for my son's graduation from Coast Guard Basic Training. When he called last Saturday he requested 2 bullet pens. One for his CO and one for someone else (I forget who). His CO gets the top one out of bloodwood, because he told them he expected blood, sweat and tears from them. The second pen is purpleheart. Sorry for the bad picts as I just finished them this afternoon and hurriedly took the pict.

Are those .30-06 casings? Very nice pens. The recipients should be very pleased.

Those look real nice and I am sure well be well received. Can't tell from the photo, but did you use the Euro or slimline nib?

Did you use anything to finish the casings?
