Here is a couple of pens that I tried finishing w/ CA. The first is a Wall St II pen with Cuban Mahogany that I got from Joe (wood128). The walnut segment is the result of a error when I glued the blank, I couldn't bear to not turn this cool wood. The second is a teacher's pen for my daughter-in-law. Ebony and Purpleheart ends with bubblegum dyamond in the center. Let me know what you think.

Nice work, William!

Not that I have ever messed up a blank :redface::wink: but consider this. If you make an oops band at each end of the blank, it looks more intentional than a single one.

Great start, I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Yep, Cav said it best. Although in this situation it really doesn't look too bad with the fixer band, you would be better off to put it at both ends. It's kinda fun that way, it sends the message that "I am in control!!!" when of course that is usually the farthest from the truth, but hey, no one ever needs to be the wiser :p

Nice looking pens, keep up the good work!
