1st Segment pen

Here is my first segment pen. Thanks, Victor for the segment blank you included with the grab box. I know it's not perfect and I'm still having problems with CA/BLO but it's only my 4th pen total. Also does anyone know what kind of wood this is? Any comment or critique welcome.

Very nice pen sir, its Black Walnut and Black Cherry. Glad you like it and you did a great job on it, my 4th pen was ugly. I'm only on about number 20-22 and some of them need a finish still. I think I need to get back out and do a bunch of segmented blanks, i have got away from it after seeing what some of these guys do segmenting(just amazing stuff). I really like the shape of the pen as well. Nice Job, Victor
