This is my first Nouvea. And I must say I like this kit. Very shapely. I am not sold on the bigness at the tip of the cap, but other than that. Comments welcome.

Cav, the ONLY reason I got this kit, or the Deco, or the FS Majestic was the combo deal PSI has. Now the Deco, has a combo, but not the same as the other two, so I just got the bushings because I already had the sleeves and drill bits. If the cap was more the size of the Deco, I think it would be better IMO. That said, I am VERY happy to have a jr. sized pen with more than 1/32 of wood left on the cap.

I agree that the cap looks disproportionally large.
However, what if you changes tthe taper from a straight to a convex arc, with maybe the first half almost straight, and the bottom half of the cap with the curved taper

Just my .02

You did a great job though

Hans, great piece of wood and you did a magnificent job................but I've made a few and the top is TOP heavy, no matter how you turn it it just reminds me of a baseball bat,a bat with lots of bling but a bat .
