I bought a bunch of stabilized and dyed blue box elder. It all turns green when I get the peice turned down enough. Where did you get the blank or did you dye it yourself.

Very nice looking pen. The color of the pen and plating goes well together. It looks like a good application of the 3 step finish too. [:D]

Wow Coach that one is hard to critique. If I was to talk on it (not that I'm anybody) I'd say, "The kit works very well with the dyed wood, the fit and finish look to be spot on, the cap barrel has just a little less arc that the pen barrel but still works for me (personal preference), all-in-all you nailed this one."
Not normally a fan of dyed woods I may have to try the dyed piece that BB sent after seeing this.
Quality workmanship.
