1st attempt at Greek Circle/Celtic Knot

This is my first attempt at the greek circle. It is curly maple and walnut. One of the walnut pieces is slightly off, but over all I am happy with the result. The only thing I may do is to put it back on the lathe and recontour the barrell a little. Let me know what you think.

I was told by a "greek" friend here at work that it should be referred to as a greek circle, but I had always heard it called a celtic knot as well. oh well.

Google Images didn't come up with anyting that looked like that.
Though it isn't a real "Celtic Knot" as erroniusly mentioned many times, evidntly it isn't a Greek Circle either.

Either one of those would be Okay as long as it isn't labeled a Celtic or Greek knot.
